Sales Support Administrator – Birmingham (England)

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Support Administrator to work alongside the internal and external sales team to provide full administrative support to a designated Area Sales Manager and excellent customer service to external customers. A varying range of administrative duties are required.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Support Administrator:

  • To answer the telephone and assist with general enquiries
  • Process architect/contractor sample requests, including web requests
  • Order in samples from suppliers as required, monitoring the order’s progress and liaising with Samples department and Area Sales Manager regarding its receipt
  • Cleanse sample report for Area Sales Manager to monitor our initial enquiry opportunities
  • Produce pricing quotations, including initial quotations and cloned quotes
  • Raise Stock loaders through Filemaker system for new product not in SAP to enable a quotation
  • Request PTV/SRV/NCS tests on various products through Filemaker system, then forward the relevant results/certificates as required by your designated Area Sales Manager
  • Process factory registrations and reservations as requested by your designated Area Sales Manager
  • Provide product specific data sheets as requested
  • Continuously updating and maintaining an accurate CRM database in SAP
  • Use of Microsoft Teams to store project specific sales data to support project enquiries in SAP
  • Compose letters/e-mails as requested by Area Sales Manager

Skills & Experience required:

  • Previous experience in similar sales support / administrator position
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with a positive, professional attitude, strong work ethic, and critical attention to detail
  • Evidence of strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • High degree of personal integrity and professional accountability
  • Previous use of SAP would be an advantage but not essential
