As the Sales Account Manager, you will be pivotal in forging and cementing long lasting telephony-based relationships with customers, supporting them through the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager:

  • Maintain and retain relationships with customer
  • Continue customer relationship, ensuring proposition is matched to changing customer needs
  • Win back customers stopping transactions under 6 months
  • Understand the supporting digital journey for customers
  • Develop customer relationships through effective communication
  • Day to day telephony-based management of a portfolio of customers
  • Create a welcome and positive experience, covering all elements of the welcome journey
  • Negotiating with existing customers to maximise revenue
  • Proactively engage with customers to inform them of new and enhanced product offering
  • Have quality conversations with customers to ensure they have appropriate solution
  • Proactively cross sell wider products and services into existing customer portfolio to agreed targets
  • Build strong relationships with customers’ delivering excellent customer service
  • Follow up on customer commitments and promises, keeping customer informed of changes to proposition

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Telesales or account management experience in a proactive selling environment is essential
  • Adapts to change in priorities and maintains positivity
  • Able to respond customer needs
  • Influences customers to accept best solution for their needs
  • Presents information well in various forms including calls, emails
  • Plans own work to get results
  • Manages own development, wellbeing and career
  • Is open to learning and actively participates in new ways of doing things
